Care Confidence is a website designed to give those who self-fund care, easier access to information and advice, whether for yourself or someone else.

A self-funder is someone who pays for all of their social care from their own money without a financial contribution from the council. This is because their savings are higher than the eligible amount of £23,250.

Developed by university researchers with help from members of the public and professionals, the site is a treasure trove of information on matters like home adaptations, common financial concerns, downsizing or moving into a care home, managing money and making care decisions for the future.
