Live Music - Masham Town Hall
Masham Town Hall is a music, performance and events venue in the heart of Masham. We are lucky to boast such an imposing facility with a lively and diverse performance programme.
The Town Hall has two performance spaces including it’s main hall and stage. It hosts everything from Party Nights to Panto, live contemporary music, traditional Folk legends, country music and Tribute Bands. See What’s On for details.
Live Music - Grewelthorpe Village Hall
Also on the doorstep, Grewelthorpe Village Hall, a converted Methodist Chapel hosts live performance in an atmospheric and intimate setting. It has been described by the Harrogate Advertiser’s Music Critic as ‘one of North Yorkshire’s finest village live venues’ and is definitely a venue to keep an eye out for. Find more info here.
Theatre - Harrogate & Richmond
Further afield, a live theatre performance programme is available at Harrogate Theatre with live music at the Royal Hall. In Richmond the Georgian Theatre Royal is a unique living theatre museum too.
Cinemas
The nearest cinemas for a rainy day option are the Station Cinema in Richmond or the Savoy Cinema at Catterick Garrison, the Everyman in Northallerton, the Ritz Cinema in Thirsk or the Odeon in Harrogate.
Festivals
Ripon Cathedral hosts performance and music events including the Ripon International Music Festival. Harrogate hosts its own series of festivals – Music, Literature, Crime Writing and more. Into the Dales, Grassington and Reeth Festivals are also well established. Leyburn hosts a Jazz Festival weekend in October and Tennants Garden Rooms hosts regular live music and performances.
