Explore behind the scenes at North Yorkshire Archives on one of their brand-new public tours!
Find out how they store their archival collections, held on site on over 5 miles of shelving. Then visit the specialist conservation and reprographics studios to see how collections are preserved and copied.
The tour will be followed by an introduction to the public search room, where you can view collections and be inspired to start your own research. An Archivist will be available to answer your questions on local history, house history, family history and much more.
Each tour costs £3.30 per person and is limited to 15 people, so book ahead through their online shop to secure your place!
