As part of the Thornborough Festival of Archaeology, come and find out about Thornborough’s remarkable Neolithic and Bronze Age landscape with an introductory lecture and guided tour.
Join one of two sessions… either 10am till 2pm or 1pm till 5pm.
Each session begins at West Tanfield Memorial Hall with a talk by Dr Jan Harding, followed by a short drive to the Henge monuments where you will enjoy a guided walk in the company of experts.
Tickets are £5 per person and should be booked on Eventbrite here. The price includes a 50 minute introductory talk, a chance to participate in a Q&A, an opportunity to see prehistoric artefacts, and a guided tour. The money raised will help organise and deliver more fieldwork opportunities for volunteers.
