Mind in Harrogate District are excited to welcome Charlotte to their upcoming Masham Wellbeing Group this September. A qualified medical herbalist and member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists. She practices herbal medicine via one-to-one appointments and has a consultation and herbal dispensary space in Kirkby Malzeard.
Herbal medicine seeks to understand not only the immediate health issue or symptoms being experienced, but also any underlying or contributing factors. Mental and physical wellbeing are closely connected, and herbal medicine takes this whole-person approach into account.
Charlotte will be giving a lively and interactive talk about medical herbalism, drawing together traditional practices and cutting-edge scientific research. You’ll learn how herbal medicine can be used to support everyday wellbeing, including sleep, stress and digestion, and there’ll be an opportunity to experience some herbs for yourself. She is happy to answer any and all questions about herbal medicine, wellbeing and how it can help you.
