Join an unforgettable theatrical experience across Ripon’s historic museums!
Peelers, Poachers & Paupers tells the true story of Yorkshire brothers Elisha and John Sinkler – from poaching on the moors to transportation to Australia, and their fight to return.
Staged by Ripon Workhouse Theatre Ensemble and Fell Foss Theatre, this immersive promenade performance takes place across the Workhouse Museum, Police and Prison Museum, and Courthouse.
Due to the promenade nature of the performance and the different size of the venues, ticketing will be used to manage numbers at each stage of the story.
Performance times:
1.30-4.30pm – Promenade #1 – Prison & Police Museum, Courthouse, Workhouse Museum
2-4.30pm – Promenade #2 – Courthouse, Prison & Police Museum, Workhouse Museum
5-8pm – Promenade #3 – Prison & Police Museum, Courthouse, Workhouse Museum
5.30-8pm – Promenade #4 -Prison & Police Museum, Courthouse, Workhouse Museum
