VE DAY PROCLAIMATION – St Mary’s Church
MEMORIAL SERVICE – St. Mary’s Church 6:00pm
An outdoor service of commemoration at the War Memorial, followed by the Last Post and Reveille and the ringing of the Church Bells at 6:30pm, as part of the united commemoration across the nation.
COMMUNITY SAUSAGE & MASH SUPPER – St. Mary’s Church
A suasage, mash and peas supper along with refreshments will be available from 6:45pm at the Church. This needs to be preordered – book via Lesley Hunter or via Mashamshire Community Office.
BEACON LIGHTING AT ROOMER COMMON – 9:30PM
Watch as the Roomer Common beacon is lit along with hundreds of others across the country.
