Celebrate Yorkshire Day at St. Mary’s Church with children’s activities, live entertainment and traditional Yorkshire fayre. Part of Masham’s Peculier™ Yorkshire Day two day celebration, you’ll find the full schedule here. The programme of activities at St. Mary on Friday runs as follows:
Yorkshire Day – Daytime Programme:
12:00pm at Church Gates
- Town Crier Announcement – followed by the ringing of the church bells.
12:15pm to 4:00pm in St. Mary’s
- Slide Show – Famous Yorkshire Places and People
- Yorkshire Fayre Served
Yorkshire puddings with fillings
Shepherd’s pie
Wensleydale/Swaledale cheese scones
Fruit cake with Wensleydale cheese

Yorkshire curd tart - Entertainment:
1:00pm – Hand Bells Ringers
2:00pm – St. Mary’s Singers
2.30pm – Poetry & Stories - Free Children’s Activities – all afternoon

There will be no charge for the children’s activities.
All proceeds to go towards the churchyard extension which is a facility for everyone living in the Parish.
