We have comprised a list of activities and events that are taking place locally next week. No matter what the weather decides to do, we have included a range of fun activities suitable for all ages and budgets.

Free of charge and no bookings required, these sessions are available on a monthly basis until April.

From Saturday 14 February to Sunday 1 March
Giving families the chance to experience the magic of lambing season up close.
More than 50 lambs are expected to be born, and visitors may even witness a live birth in the Maternity Ewe Unit – a memorable moment for all ages.
Throughout the event, the farm’s team will host engaging talks about sheep, lambing and daily life on a working farm, offering an accessible glimpse behind the scenes.
Admission also includes a full day of hands-on activities such as meeting newborn lambs, calf bottle-feeding, small-animal cuddles, hand-feeding friendly barn animals, and exploring outdoor play areas and woodland trails.

This half-term, the National Trust is celebrating the release of Disney and Pixar’s “Hoppers”, in Cinemas 6 March. Discover the ‘Hop into the wild’ family trail, with storytelling and outdoor play.
If you’re looking for some school holiday fun, come and enjoy the great outdoors, guided by cutouts of the “Hoppers” gang. Collect your discovery passport, explore the animal kingdoms, and most importantly, unleash your wild side!
