Grants of £5 – 40K available to improve high streets and local economies across North Yorkshire (no contribution required). This is not for individual business applications – applications need come from a collaboration of interested parties (formally organised or informally). This could be a collaboration of businesses, or could also include community organisations, town councils etc.
Mashamshire Community Office have been appointed to lead on our pilot project bid.
Funding is capital and revenue, so can be used to purchase machinery, equipment or other assets, but can also buy in the costs of labour or services e.g. hire a project manager or marketing professional.
A high street can be in any town or village, it’s not defined. Separate applications can be made in Phase 1 and Phase 2. Larger funding can be considered although some contribution may be required.
