Inside Info – Derek & Carol, Spirit of Masham Distillery
18 Aug 2025
Derek and Carol Harle founded the Spirit of Masham Distillery in the heart of Masham, where they use small batch production to create a range of true Yorkshire Dry Gins.
It’s all very personal…their handmade copper alembic still is called “Stan” and Stan helps them create beautifully smooth, flavoursome and well balanced unique gins that truely capture the spirit of Masham. Their gins are sold via their Masham shop, Corks & Cases. If you want to know more about gin or even have the rare experience of creating your own gin, they run Gin Experiences too!
Spirit of Masham is a peculierly™ Masham business, and you can explore other Masham shops via our maps below and read Derek and carol’ inside info in the following section.
