
Graham Jameson is Managing Director at WE Jamesons in Masham.
Jamesons was established in 1930 by Eddie Jameson, selling seeds to local farmers, the business soon developed, selling farming essentials, and in 1970 the company built its feed mill at Foxholme Lane in Masham, which now also houses its handy Country Store.
As well as farming supplies, the Country Store stocks handy everyday essentials and is now relied upon by may locals for pet food, cleaning products, hardware, tools and even clothing. Jamesons is a peculierly™ Masham business with a long history in our town.

How did you come to run the business?
There has been a ‘Jameson’ shop in Masham for 4 generations – the first sold Flowers, Wreaths & Fruit & Veg. WE Jameson have had a shop of some kind or another since 1930.
Top sellers:
Dog Food of course. Being in the Yorkshire Dales, Masham is a fantastic place for dogs and well behaved walkers!
What is you most Peculier Product?
Buffalo hooves, stag antlers, pig ears.
What makes your business special?
Jamesons Animal Feeds specialises in producing feed for farmers and the rural community so adding a Country Store meant we could widen our offering and better serve their needs.

We like to keep their identities a secret so they can come in and just relax!
Our favourite place:
A Round River Walk from Jamesons Mill, over the Golf Course, across Thorpe Road along the River, up to Church Bank, across the Recreation ground to Fishers Hut. Returning to town via Marfield Wetlands and the Llama’s at Hills Farm.
