How did you come to run the business?
Masham is home, and I have always enjoyed exploring the wide range of sweets – from nostalgic favourites to new and quirky treasures at Joneva. I love the community here, so it was a no brainer when the shop came up for sale.
Most peculier product:
Sticky Toffee Cheddar – you’ve just got to try it! For the sweet-toothed – Cola Alpaca’s or mini hot jelly peppers are definitely different.

What makes your business special?
The whole shop is full of unexpected products that you just have to try or take home to treat a loved one. Peculier fact: The name Joneva is from Jon & Eva the shop’s original founders back in 1992.

A cheeky nip in the White Bear.
