Ripon will come to life this August with a series of exciting community events, aptly named Super Summer Saturdays!
Organised by Visit Ripon and Ripon BID, these lively afternoons of entertainment will be running alongside the new Augmented Reality Trail — a free, family-friendly digital adventure that leads participants through Ripon with fun, interactive challenges.
Super Summer Saturdays will take over Spa Gardens on the following dates:
- Saturday 2nd August between 10am – 2.30pm
- Saturday 9th August between 10am – 2.30pm
- Saturday 23rd August between 10am – 2.30pm
- Saturday 30th August between 10am – 2.30pm
Each event day will feature a mix of giant bubble displays, street entertainers and a bright, buzzing atmosphere the whole family can enjoy.
Whether you’re a Ripon resident or visiting for the day, these events are the perfect opportunity to explore the city, take in some live entertainment and support local businesses.
Super Summer Saturdays are part of a wider initiative to support Ripon’s city centre — encouraging more people to explore, stay and enjoy everything our historic city has to offer.
