THE SCROOGE DIARIES
Presented by Live at Grewelthorpe with the support of Rural Arts
Following a very successful theatre performance in the Village Hall earlier this year, we have a very different show coming in December. This is the ‘real’ story of a Christmas Carol as revealed in The Scrooge Diaries, a play written and performed by Peter Macqueen. Described by the British Theatre Guide as ‘ … a wickedly wild and witty play’, Ebeneezer Scrooge opens his diary to expose the awful truth about Tiny Tim, the Fezziwigs, Jacob Marley…..and the vengeful, slanderous author of that fiction – Charles Dickens.
