The Fearby & Healy WI were as usual hard at work at the Annual Masham Sheep Fair this year – offering visitors much needed home made cake and soup, crafts and a chance to win a gift on their tombola.   The group regularly donate funds to the Air Ambulance, but choose a different local charity each year to be the beneficiary of their hard earned cash.  This year the Mashamshire Community Office were lucky enough to be their chosen local charity.

Mo Marshall from Fearby and Healey WI said “We are thrilled to make a donation to Masham Community Office from the funds we raised at the Sheep Fair this year”.

Hayley Jackson, Mashamshire Community Office Manager thanked them for their support.  “We’re very grateful to Fearby and Healey WI for their generous donation of £200. It costs MCO £268 a day to keep our services running, so fundraising and local support through donations such as this, are integral to our survival as a small independent charity. We are hugely grateful for all the support we receive”.
