Running since 2007, Get Online Week is a national campaign that helps people gain confidence with technology and discover the benefits of getting online.
Many people still find the digital world daunting, but this week is all about breaking down barriers, building confidence and highlighting how being online can make everyday life easier.
Here in Masham, the Community Office and Library have some great opportunities to help our community get connected!
‘Appy Day at the Library — Wednesday 22nd October
10.00am – 3.00pm | Masham Library
Join us this Get Online Week and learn how to make the most of your Library App!
With it, you can:
🔍 Search the catalogue for books, audiobooks, and DVDs
📚 Issue, reserve, and renew your items
💻 Access FREE digital content including e-books, e-audiobooks, newspapers, magazines and comics
Our friendly Digital Support Champion, Steve, will be in the library all day offering one-to-one help with the Library App — or any app!
Whether you’re unsure how to download it and log in or just want to explore its features, Steve will be happy to help. And remember: there’s no such thing as a silly question — if you’ve ever wondered how to do something on your phone or tablet, this is the perfect time to ask.
