Do you know a local volunteer or community group making a real difference? The 2025 North Yorkshire Community Awards are now open – celebrating the individuals and groups who help make our county such a supportive, vibrant place to live.

Award categories

Community Impact – for grassroots groups making a positive difference locally

Collaborative Spirit – for partnerships between groups working together to create lasting change

Commitment to the Community – for individual volunteers with 10+ years of dedicated service

Prizes

Winners in each category will receive £1,000 for their group or a chosen local charity, with £250 awarded to two runners-up.

Key dates

Nominations close on Sunday 3rd August 2025.  Finalists will be invited to an awards ceremony on Friday 21st November at the Pavilions of Harrogate.
