Mashamshire Community Office is a small but growing voluntary organisation with ambitious plans to meet the needs of its community. It is a registered charity operated as a company limited by guarantee. The board of directors are also Trustees of the charity.
To help us grow we need experienced members of the public to join our Board.
Do you have any of the relevant skills to help us grow?
We are particularly keen to recruit members of the local community in and around Mashamshire who have any of the following areas of expertise:
- Knowledge of the health, community or care sector
- Expertise in charity fundraising or funding bid writing
- Expertise/passion for youth work and services for younger people
- Experience of older people support initiatives
- Community transport
The Board is responsible for setting the strategy and policies of Mashamshire Community Office and guides and supports the Manager and her staff. Board meetings are held every two months in Masham (usually on a Thursday 5.30pm-7.30pm).
