Reservoir levels are low!
It’s been the driest Feb-April for almost 90 years – the long awaited rain predicted over the next few days will help – but we are a long way to go to get water levels up to where they should be.
Yorkshire Water have issued a ‘low reservoir’ warning for Masham and the surrounding areas. At this time of year – reservoirs are normally at 88% whereas we are currently at 66% – that’s almost 1/4 less! They have asked for us to ‘please use water sparingly’!
